Description
Elfdaughter was kind enough to post the original with a license that allows this post without her permission. I created this without her knowledge or endorsement, but I hope she approves all the same! This is an unknowing duet of Duct Tape. I hope others enjoy it as much as the original.

Lyrics
Duct tape, duct tape, oh where is my duct tape.
My pavilon is leaking, my old shield is cracked.
My poor heart is broken, I'll fix it with duct tape.
Fix it with duct tape until you come back.

Ribbons and safety pins and bias tape;
I've tried every color, each variety and every shape.
But only duct tape can bind you to me,
Oh where is my duct tape, Oh where can it be.

Duct tape is better than glue,
It fixes stuff just like new.
Be prepared throughout your life,
Keep a roll beneath your pillow at night.

LOVE IT!
So original, and you know, Duct Tape has become an unintentional
metaphor for our current state of affairs....or should I say "Repairs" ??

Kudos.

Doee the Duck Tape Club Know?
Believe it or not, there is a cult of duck(duct) tape!

I bet they'd love to hear your song, perhaps use it as their club song!
It's hysterical!

Maybe they'll give you both a lifetime supply of duct tape!

Oh we can dream!!!

thanks
Like it especially in my tile installation business I rely so heavily on it.
Mainly to protect the dirt from getting into tub and sink drains.
Very useful indeed.

Thanks for paying homage to this important product.
