Instant download.
Nicely performed and recorded... The recording ambience is bright, full
but not too echo-y... It's nice and loose overall...

A nice addition to the Christmas playlist...

Holly Jolly Dance
I love how it goes back and forth between graceful flying parts and the
bouncy, happy reindeer dancing parts. Great job playing and recording
this as usual.

very nice
that is some really good fingerpicking right there. you have gotten a
very clean sound out of the guitar and it sounds very enveloping. you
have a very good clean fingerpicking sound and excellent timing and
rythm. i especially like the harmony when you go up and down a little
bit. plus the pedaling sounds good too.

would like to know how you recorded the guitar, great sound.

Reindeer Ho!
This one has a really nice traveling feel about it. You can almost feel
the wind blowing in your face as the Reindeer zoom above the
rooftops.

Nice work. I love the sound. It's clean and clear. Great playing, as always, and great mix. I like the touch of reverb. I gives your playing a full sound.

It's already on my Christmas playlist.

Happy Holidays!

Thanks I went through a few hoops to get that sound because I doubled up on
the tracks to bring the firs two mics with very little if any reverb and the
duplicate two tracks with the more elaborate reverb in GB2.

Thanks scorp

Lovely!
This is so pretty. I love the idea for the song. My only complaint is that
is is not really a waltz... so I'd call it Reindeer Dance, or something like
that. I know I'm being picky, but what else can I critique? Everything
else is great!

beautiful production
Bill, I have an apology to make. I'm not much of a Christmas tune
person, and so I didn't get around to listening to some of your more
recent posts. However, last weekend I downloaded a collection of
Christmas songs from MJ (Noel Project, Curry, Rebsie and Mando and
your good self) for a Christmas CD - to play on the big day. While
listening to your tracks I was reminded what a fantastic guitarist and
interpreter you are, and what perfect sounds you get with your
recordings on Betsy.

This tune meets the usual very high standards you set yourself - clean,
crisp picking, beautiful production and heart felt playing. I KNOW how
hard it is to get an acoustic guitar sounding this good, and the fact
that you do it over and over (and over and over ........) again is most
impressive. I'm amazed at both the size and the quality of your
catalog, and this post doesn't let the side down at all. Congratulations,
Happy Christmas and a happy, safe and rewarding new year.

beautiful production
I love the art of recording, never thoght I would be that passionate about it until
I joined macjams. But it seems like my two mics are extension of my guitar. It is
amazing, I am starting to get picky about how those mics are placed. Starting to
realize that moving those mics just a few inches can be dramatic.

So it is in way, very challanging indeed cause I love dedicating a lot of my life to
trying to make beautiful, romantic etc music, but the mic-recording end of it is
really making it into another ball game. A fun ballgame that I really love to play.

Love every note
So many great riffs along with a great pace. Sorry I skipped over this
tune so many times (I thought it was going to be a "grandma got run
over by dem reindeers" ) type tune. Boy was I surprised. Thanks Mr.

Love every note
That might of been because of my tune "Santa Is Stuck" but to be honest that
tune was as challenging to make as some of my sophisticated solo's, because I
had to fingerpick and sing at the same time.

thanks so much for stopping by! I really appreciate the comment!
