Lyrics
whats up with this tired old scene / seems like nothing is ever what it truely seems / try to picture in your minds eye what it might look like / to be on the inside looking out for who you've been / creating imaginary spaces to hide to trick your senses / step up into the you you're needing to be / heal what's left & leave the rest behind / your time is ticking faster & it won't rewind / what is it about this frequency / that makes me tired & puts me to sleep / i need a new toy that lets me tweek the controls / so i can customize & redesign my roll & rock & roll / where could this be where i am here now / where could you be here where i am now / no tellin' how much longer we have yet to ponder / these words are falling short to half explain / in simple terms what i'm made of -

i like you style
I like the guitar sound
You should try to diminish the voice effects, too much echo, dont you
think?

hey sam - thanks for your comment - i've never liked being obvious & i love it
when a song makes me dig a little deeper than the surface - it draws me in -
due to the efx on the vox it is a bit of a challenge to make out the lyrics but i
added the vocal track as another instrument in an attempt to create some
texture - again thank you for your interest - <^>

Don't touch that dial
True, reducing the vocal effect would lean toward more clarity in
understanding the lyrics for first time listeners, and would increase its
rating on the pop value charts. Don't.

If the effects remain as they are, the voice here is an instrument that
after multiple, continuous, listenings lets enough of the words through
and still remains part of the song rather than riding on the music.

Comprehension is just fine, battling the meaning masking effect is part
of the reward as the listener interprets the song. It is clear enough
even if you don't cheat and read the lyrics section, although I am sure
that will be helpful next time I spot this in a karaoke joint!
