A window to your soul
This one comes from the heart, really nice. The acoustic has such a power
to resonate with our emotions when played like this. Sometimes
something as simple and elegant as this can say much more than
something complex.

A window to your soul
Thanks a lot strat. I've been trying to come up with lyrics for this for the past three weeks or so with mixed results. I was playing around with my little fostex 8 track last night and plugged my Epiphone acoustic direct and also mic'd it with a surre beta 58 and just recorded the chord sequence. I forgot how good that little box sounds. I might do some more recording with it and edit with GB or Logic. It's a lot more mobile then my IMac.

Nice tune...nice sounds. I HOPE someday you sing some approprate lyrics
over this. It's modestly uplifting. Worthy.

Be well!

Thanks Mike. I just posted this tune in short order as I will have to take a break from recording music. Just got a cancer diagnosis last week and Hope and Prayer are on my mind right now. Thanks for the kind words.

a prayer lifted
to God in the form of these notes through your fingers via your sweet spirit. This is a beautiful little tune and it's worth noting that you've dedicated and offered it in the name of hope. Each time someone hears this track, I'd like to think that this prayer is repeated and a blessing is sent. And all of those blessings will come threefold back to you, in healing waves. Thank you for the music!

a prayer lifted
Thank You Dreadmon I take that has a high compliment comming from someone of your talent. Hope when I get well ( No Pun Intended ) I can flesh this tune out with a little keyboard synth and maybe some vocals. After the cancer thing I've gone through I've looked at music in a much more spiritual light and most songs as a form of prayer. Thnaks for the kind words friend.

nice & simple.
I like that you put the word "hope" at the beginning of this recording, and
I think the recording evokes the intention. Heartwarming!

Very sweet
This was a sweet sounding little progression--reminds of the kind of stuff I come up with to play for my kids at bedtime. Very peaceful and relaxing. Sounds like you occasionally miss a pluck or two, but the emotion is still there.

PS--I love writing lyrics. If you want to share any of you ideas with me, I be glad to offer you some input/feedback/options....
