hmmm... well usually at some point i go through, and make all my songs that
are just basic ideas longer, but i am not sure where to go with this piece... i
will take your suggestion in to account... usually im much more in the mood
for coming up with new pieces then i am on going back to old ones and
trying to lengthen them... as i said though, every so often i go through and
try to make all my old songs better, and i will make sure to examine this one
and try to go further with this piece

Yep, it's cool
but as an intro to something bigger. I'm not sure if the kick was clipping or if I just need new headphones. In any case, I'd build this out.
