wacky weird sounds...
and so... what kind of software did you use to record live morphing of
effects like that? And what's your hardware setup? Fill out the song hw/
sw fields! Curious dragons want to know! :-)

haha
well... theres a lot of great free plugins that this site is attached to

i used the buffer overdrive plugin (destroy FX), on a piano... thats for
the clickity pianoish sound... the rest is the garage band jam pack 2
which has a cool kit of sound FX, and thats just one of the jampack two
drum beats, that i recorded, then looped

double
the factory area in Tokyo is spred by the sea.
it has many lights, many machines, and a feeling like ruins.
it also is a play-ground for kids(almost BAD).
some ride,some dance,some scate,some smoke,some fight.
Tokyo's factory area has two meanings for me.
mechanical, functional beauty
and
living only for the moment.

Interesting... reminds me of when a CD skips really quickly. You got some suitably strange sounds going on; doesn't sound remotely like electropop to me, more like "experimental". Pretty cool, but I bet you could develop this more fully--give it changes, a strong pulse and a beginning and ending for example.

definately not electropop... im sure the person who gave me a 3 in terms of
genre recognised that... but if the genre is wrong, its not a bad electropop
song, in terms of... it doesnt need improvement in terms of being
electropop... its just not... anyways... it could definately use some work... but
im not going to work on it... i like the spontinaety, and i think it sounds really
good for two straight recordings of just me hitting semi randomised keys... i
created a monster... the more i mess with this the worst its going to sound...
im gonna change the genre...

Heheh, I can understand not wanting to work on a song once you're done with it. For my tunes, I usually spend a week to a month on the song, and then post it and never want to touch it again! I think this here is cool as an experiment, but if you want to really engage your listeners you could transform it from an interesting snippet to a full on sonic journey by just making a few changes (some sonic contrasts, and a beginning and ending, as I say). I see that you have other insteresting snippets posted--there might be a good way to develop and combine several of them into something more like a song. Anyway, that's just my thoughts. Cheers!

im done working on these for now... i have a lot of finished song pieces, but i
dont usually post them... who says songs have to be more than just 1-2
minutes long anyway? anyways... more effort will come from me getting a
new computer, that i can work on bigger pieces... with the setup i have right
now though, its a lot LOT more tedius of a process to work on an old piece
(on top of the initial tedium of not starting from scratch), because my
processor barely runs garageband... so its a huge pain... so i usually take
peoples suggestions into account... but a lot of these, rather simple seeming
two minutes pieces, are about all my processor can handle... im gonna get a
mini one of thse days

i read over your comment once more... and you addressed something i am
glad you brought up

lets look at another form of art for this... photography

photography to a large extent is more about chance than it is about hours of
effort put into each individual piece... i think that this particular song.... in
terms of the way I feel when i listen to it, is good as is... if i messed with it
too much it might turn into something its not... its increadably spontaneous,
and i like that about it... i think that in my view, it is very pleasing (pleasing is
the wrong word... i find it to be dreadful, but in a way that im fond of) to
listen to... and if i messed with it too much, and made it too coherent
seeming, i think it would lose the emotion in terms of what it truely is...

in a lot of cases i would take somebodies critiques very seriously, in terms of
what needs to be done... and i really think what you have to say about this
piece has a lot of merit... but as with the photo that is taken at just the right
time of day, it has a nature which i do not want to mess with too much...
theres a lot of emotion imbedded deep within this piece, and its not
something i want to mess with too much

anyways, good times... im happy you put your two cents in, and i hope to
hear more of your comments on different pieces... ones which definately
could use improvements in spesific place, and i most definately will take your
comments into strong consideration, when going back and revising them...
(hopefully i will get that new computer soon, hehe)

Hey man
This is an interesting piece. I really like the name, and I think it does a
good job, of in a musical way, protraying disillusionment

Exactly
Your genius shines through on this piece. Totally dig the melody on this one, and the instrumentation rocks. This is a great middle section for a piece you have yet to write. PLEASE PLEASE develop this into something...something cold and sterile.
