Description
A few years ago, I stayed at a beach house on Polly's Island, just off the coast of South Carolina. This song is dedicated to that moment.

Under the umbrella
Really nice, Ron. Such a comfort. I feel the warmth, the waves, the drink
in your hand. Delightful and pleasant smooth jazz.

Thank You, Tobin
Thanks again for your encouraging words. Yes, I'm particularly happy
with this song and how it turned out. It's a bit formulaic and I admit it,
but every now and then it's good just to have a nice, simple jam session
with oneself. Thanks again.

Smooooov
A pleasant tune to lounge to on a lazy afternoon.

Two remarks. The piano solo is too short. Give the man some chance to
express himself!

All the repetitions of the theme/hook are a bit much. Initially you have it
four times in a row. I would varied the fourth time. Same comment applies
later on.

But hey, this was a joy to listen to.

Get me my sandals
And don't forget the beer. On second thought, maybe a cocktail.

The joy in this piece is undeniable and wonderfully contagious.

Thanks, Charlie
Thanks for the nice words, Charlie. Having someone think of my work as
"contagious" is a real honor. Thanks again.

Another excellent tune
I like the melody line, it's very interesting and thought through (or at least sounds like it was), gentle proof of the fact that the real composition does need a melody, not only an improvised solo over some chords... very pretty.

Thanks!
Thanks for the kind words. I believe that melody is important, too. I generally like to put off all the soloing stuff until the end. Thanks again!

An oasis for my soul!
Ummm, I know where I want to be right now! I can feel the sand between my toes, and the taste of an orange on my lips. Simply beautiful!
