This is a Dance tune which features my (at-the-time) 8 month-old daughter blabbering perfectly in tune with the background. Perfect-Pitch toddler? Well, I did this tune back in the day with Cubasis, and used a nifty plug-in by Akai called PitchRight. She does have a great ear though (she's 2 now).

I like the cool way you've mixed it, Very nice.
I like the dissonant backing against the cheerful babbling
of your daughter... she's gonna be a star!
My daughter cant keep her hands off my microphone, the
minute I sing, she's up with me as well..
Great ending too, acappella girl!

This is brilliant! Ah... how I love this. As a mommy to two-year-old twin girls, I can SO appreciate the beauty in this incoherent babbling and cooing. Thanks for inspiring me.

nyaaanyang yaah!
That is an extremely ingenious idea, and a cool
background song to go with it! Slightly repetitive, but
crystal-clear production. I have one silly question
though... did you write the song BEFORE or AFTER you got
the sound samples of her? It almost sounds like you
listened to her cooing, then wrote a backup song to go
with her. Very enjoyable! I still have a System-beep
sound of my son at 2 years old saying "whaaat
happen..d?" Little kid sounds always give me a smirk!

Geez, its been so long...

I recorded her, then found some samples that were close to being "in tune".
Now I really can't remember if that was in tune with loops I had already
picked, or what. I think I tweaked the loops to get in the same "key" as my
daughter, then Used PitchRight to really snap her vocals in tune. Does that

Thanks for the comment!

Of course if you hadn't posted this, you wouldn't had a
bargaining chip later: "Young lady, if you're not home
before 10, I will post this song of yours online!"

Reminds Me of the Cranes
Sort of creepy. Dig it too much. Now I want a baby.

No comments on improving it.

Not a fan of dance, but this is cool. I would have let the baby
go solo longer.
