Lyrics
To the one whose axe swung the highest
Whose blade sheared the most
Whose bravery soared with eagle’s cry
And now has given up the ghost
Come with me to Valhalla, bravest one
Where all is merry and gay
In your noble death you’ve earned godly favour
You shall feast with Odin today

Closer to Valhalla..
I've always loved this piece, and Walter's voice helps raise it even higher. I
think this is the right "next step"... his voice is perfect for this, and I think
the words are good... but... I can't hear the words very clearly! So my
critique is that the vocal mix is a little muffled. It needs a little more
treble "bite", so we can hear the words better, I think. The voice may also
need a tiny bit more reverb or echo, to give it that powerful-narrator feel,
but be careful not to make it muddy sounding. And posting the words
(Lyrics) would help too :-) Anyway, this is just getting better and better!

Feast with Odin?
brb ..

.. thrown out of Valhalla, no tables free..the cheek! ;o)

The mix is much improved and just a little tweaking on
Moorlandts voice to bring out some more clarity.
Love those high pitched 'waaahs'- of the Valkyri?

Awesome. Kudos.

Whoar
Fantastic BIG sound, Pink Floyd flavour at their best, Walters voice adds a
commanding presence that really suits the piece. Amazing quality.
Now where's my damn broad sword.

Excellent!
What a great voice you have Walter, and what a well put-together
instrumental track! I agree with apb's comment about maybe tweaking
Walter's voice a little, but this is a seriously well thought out piece. I
like it a lot!

Great Axe Work
Pun intended. I'd like to see the music go somewhere other than the alternating I/VI chord progression in a minor key that we all know works well, and so has been zillions of times. Not to take anything away from your work within that structure; that sounds GREAT. I just want it take a new and unexpected turn somewhere, and it never quite does. Moorlandt's contribution do help make this song special.

hey !!
I have worked with several modern dance companies -- you should get with local ones and have this produced -- this would/ could be a really beautiful/cool modern piece. i know a few choreographers in san francisco that are always looking for good and intriguing new music !!

nice job !!

Didn't expect...
...this to be as grand as it was. And I totally didn't expect that blistering guitar break in the middle. What a great piece of music to start my Sunday morning.

I'll agree that the guitar solo could have been a tad louder and I would have pulled a bit of bottom end out of the vocal and added a bit to the upper mids to add some difinition... but that's being nitpicky.

Great job!
