Pearls of Perfection

Description
A chord progression I've had bouncing around for a number of years on acoustic piano, and a light went on that I could record this in GB. Found some drum rhythms to record it over, and a couple of hours later this is what I've got. Constructive feedback appreciated!

cool
Very interesting song... This one can stand for a instrumental song, but if you find a good soul voice to sing here you will have a smash hit!!

the piano chords are definitely cool. the drums are cool - rhythms work
well with it, but i would love to hear this with real drumming.

guitar's cool.

would like to hear more of a melody in places - maybe a voice. even
fragmented vocals, maybe just ooohs and aaaahs, would be cool. add
some more texture.

cool definitely - you've milked a lot out of these chords!

live?
the songwriting is solid. your chord progressions works very well, but this synthesized recording doesn't really do it justice. i do think it would sound MUCH better performed with all live instruments, and some female vocalese.

very pretty
nice groovy jazz tune. I just love the melodic bass lines in the beginning of the song, as well as the guitar solo at the end. In my mind I'm hearing a muted trumpet on the middle section. This tune should get more hits... Very well done. - Walter

Just to clarify
Everything you hear is played live, except the drums, which are of course from Apple's sample loops, but maybe that's not what you meant.

Very, very Funky Cool
Immediatey brings to mind George Duke in its overall sound and the
excellence of your playing. Excellent.

Excellent!
So many good things to say about this, where to begin! First of all the
energy is infectious and the groove/rhythm is superbe. The intro feels a
bit long to me, maybe the piano could come in a tad later. Just an idea.
The middle part with the bass solo is fantastic! What do you think of using
an e-piano instead of the piano with the same chords? Are you playing all
of the instruments? Impressive! Great sense for structure and mixing
instruments. The software and real instruments blend extremely well,
sounds effortless, but takes talent! Loved it!

Spyro Gyra
I am a big fan of Spyro Gyra, and this cut is reminiscent of there music. Your guitar solo is wild over the Latin style!!! The chords your are using are common to the Latin genre, however when you change it up with that downward progression of five chords you make it all your own.
