Description
At first, just a track to exercise my rusty fingers. I used a famous rock pattern of which I pay tribute to in the title song. Then I needed some bass and started to fiddle with some GB loops. Well, to make a long story short, this was how it ended, very late last night. Hope it's far enough from the original.

not to rusty
a perfect track for those beach party movies of the 60's. visions of cali girls in polka dot bikinis. guys faking playing fender jazzmasters in the sand with the dude in the rat fink hat stumbling in knocking over the surfboards. fun listen. but to me it does sound a bit to close. dang!

Yeap !
I know, it's a bit close. I tried to get away with it by lurking in the techno department, but I'm too much in love with these killer's chords - I have a complete collection of Louie Louie covers - to not let myself indulge in it. Do appreciate that a rocker like you had fun with it ! I did too. Thanks for stopping by and for your funny message. It's only Rock&Roll, but... you know.

digging the groove
this is down and dirty rough dry rock. Would sound really good with mick on the vox. Thanks for sharing.

and nice to hear from you. But, with a vox, it will be DEFINITELY a cover. I don't want to be sent to jail !

yper sounds
Louie louie meets Psyche Rock (which already had a little of Louie Louie in its genes, I'd say ). The guitar solo is more Flamin groovies than Kingsmen. I always say you can tell a man by the Louie Louie he plays. Yours is tasty.

Flamin' groovies !
Well, your compliment could'nt touch me deeper, as I am a great fan of the band (got quite all the vinyls and some rare demos). Found your post just now, sorry my late answer. Thanks a lot for such a nice comment.

I've been listening to music (mainly pop) as far as I can remember. Mainly a rock fan in the 60's and 70's, I quite now listen to everything I find good (from classical to trip-hop, from jazz to metal). Collaborations : Texas Blues with ElevenE... [see more]
