This is the second submission of music I created for a photo DVD for my family this past Christmas. Like the other tunes I created, the "theme" was taken from impressions I got while scanning in hundreds of family photos for the project.

This one is actually based on one particular photo. It's the last photo of my immediate family, my parents and my siblings, taken before my father's death. It was taken at Christmas 2001, less than two months before he died.

This is a very gentle and reflective piece, at least to me. Very relaxing. I hope you enjoy.

I suspect that your Xmas DVD was a big success with your relatives. Lovely background music. Evokes that sentimental, nostalgic feeling that a photo show like this would need.

Very relaxing indeed. I like the melody, gentle as it is, and with a little tweaking it would make a very good song with lyrics. It's very evocative.

Agree with Jim
This would actually not be a bad thing to turn into a song with lyrics and vocals. But, it was made for a different reason, and once again, most of my comments on your last song fits perfectly here as well. This is very dreamy, very nice melody. /Mikki

Okay, I'll kick back and chill - And I felt like reflecting... Beautiful music, JG -- Is that you playing the piano??? Quite impressive!

I can't believe how many musical genres you seem to be capable of traversing. That's what's impressive! You are one creative soul. And it really sounds as though you are a very cool soul. Of course this is true.

Thanks for sharing it!

ps -- That's a very nice picture of your family.

Joseph, really peaceful, with a spiritual quality as well. I can feel from this song that we share common ground when it comes to family. This is just a very serene and wonderful piece.
