Description
I decided to tap into my latent '80s Depeche Mode subconscious, and this bouncy tune popped out! Ian Beardsley (eanbardsley) heard an earlier version of this and immediately detected Spanish flamenco hidden in the techno dance chords. I opened up the stage in the middle of this piece and asked him to spice this up with a little REAL acoustic Spanish guitar, which he did a very nice job with. The above artwork gives a taste of the music video that will soon accompany the music.
Original idea jotted down June 22, 2002, and as usual, forgotten. Composed note-by-note in Harmony Assistant, imported into GarageBand 2 & hyper-tweaked.
UPDATE!: The music video is FINISHED (a low-resolution "YouTube" version is here:
and the high-quality DVD version was available for purchase at "The Lost Records" (with extras on the DVD, like a behind-the-scenes tour of making the music and 3D graphics, etc.)

... my hair getting bigger by the second as I was listening to this .... yet I could still hear what I now term the "Drakonis Sound" .... what you are calling "synth" ... I sometimes can still hear as a hint of "harpsicord" in there and hints of those medieval tones I now associate with your style. The flamenco guitar in the middle was a nice addition - gave it an interesting flair.
