I 'discovered' this track a couple of days ago when I was trawling through old GB files. Not much I can say about it except it was just solo fiddle recorded in March this year and it's obviously me just jotting down an idea I'd had. Listening back, I felt that it sounded complete enough to post so here it is - I'm buggered if I know where the title came from...

I like the riff but maybe some bass and uh... dancing wenches! oh ok... some kind of organy thing like one of those crank things or an accordian.

...I'll take this one further, maybe not. I like stripped down sound and solo instrument stuff and I hadn't thought of adding different instruments until your comment. There's lots of other stuff I have a mind to work on right now but one day I might revisit...

I love fragments...
...disconnected ideas...fragments...

This could certainly go somewhere... or it could be what it is...

It brings to mind walking by a street performer who's working something out as he plays...getting it in his head and fingers and getting it to where he wants it to be...

I always enjoy your playing...

I'm a folky who also happens to have strong predilections for dance music that also stimulates the mind muscle and the experimental noisy stuff which went on at the margins of punk during the late 70s and early 80s. I've played in punk ban... [see more]
