incomplete version but the song has been completed, mixed mastered, and finalized to date.

thank you, and enjoy.

oh i didn't mention----this is my first attempt at writing a christian song, but you're not supposed to know that before you listen to it.

I once stood for something
that only brought me to my knees
it was a god awful persuasion
that I just could not believe
so I searched my soul for a message
and a voice spoke loud and true
believe what you will
but don't forget I'm watching you

raise your hands high
scream out loud if you want to
do what you do
but always remember that
........i'm watching you

I got up dusted off my kneecaps
taste of salt all over my lips
took a deeeep breath
lost my regrets
found a secret
put it in my little pocket
someone said (oooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!)

raise your hand high
scream out loud if you want to
do what you do
but always remember that
........i'm watching you

believe it or not only guitar and voice. the drums are "Modern Drum 1" on the g-band loops..... put there just to fill the void of me not having a drum set

Nice tune
Are you the trouble maker I see in the forum?

This is quite cool, man. I hope you take this right....kinda' a Mick Jagger thing on your voice. Which, IMHO, is a good thing. Modern Stones.

Cool stuff

Don't worry, it's always good to ruffle a few feathers. It keeps everyone on their toes.

i like it
really cool song. great vocalization. reminds me of collective soul. the beats are a bit outta whack in some parts, but i'm sure that'll be rectified in the master. well done.

vote bomb
seems someone's already delivered you a 'vote bomb'. i don't like to see that happen, no matter what's been said or done.

anyway, back to the track. looking past the production, yeah, you have enough going on at different times to make the simple progression work. i'd be interested to see how the final version sounds. obviously you would have tightened up the vox (or at least the bgs to the lead) and i wonder what you would have put at the end to accompany the bass? obviously some more instrument layers, but i am thinking it would be a good place for some weird sfx/foley. yeah, the drum loop definitely seems to be late nearing the end. :) thanks for sharing!

You have your heart in the right place.
An honest song. I can appreciate that.

But man, what a bad mix. There's nothing wrong with drum loops, but you have to fit them in the mix. This is too soft. The bubbly synth is too loud and there are occasional trigger problems. Did you quantize it properly?

Your vocals are mostly ok, but sometimes a bit out of tune.

And really, there's nothing complex about this.
