Late Night Jam

[Explicit]

Get Flash to see this player.

Description
4 guys + late night + plenty of beers = this song.

Here is a live impromptu jam from the last full band I played in. This came up on my iPod the other day and I realized I had forgotten about it. Theres something about that bass line though.

I was playing guitar on this recording. Dont pay too much attention to the vox - he was just making stuff up that night. All in good fun. I would actually love to get a band together these days that would jam like this all the time.

Feter's in the house!
Hey Feter, thanks for the quick comments. I can't actually take credit for the vocals - that is a guy I've don music with a lot. This jam has a real spoken word style. We're glad we were recording.

This really
does work; as you say, there's something about the bassline, but also the guitar and drums, vocals? well not many lyrics make sense these days, so it sounds fine to me LOL. He has the right voice for this type of song, enjoyed, regards M

Thanks Maurice. I wish I could play more stuff like this. Maybe not always with that crazy guitar but just good jams.

diggin it
I love late night guitar-centric jams like this. I got about 145 memorex cassette tapes full from the 80's and 90's. You've inspired me. maybe I'll share a few. Guitar tones on this are totally groovy. Excellent feedback.

yeah
I'd love to hear some of your stuff Phil. It's great to hear something that doesn't necessarily follow a strict format sometimes.
Thanks for coming by.

Cool
Sounds like it was a blast. The bassline is great, and that's a pretty good guitar sound going on there too. Those lyrics could totally have been done by Jim Morrison. Thanks for sharing. Peace.

Very cool jam - I love live
reminds me a little of Jon Cale Guts era. Excellent guitar work and yeah that bass does insinuate itself. I'm jamming with Splinter again tomorrow night - this is a good inspiration.

I'll have to check out Jon Gale. I remember your last post of your jam with Splinter. That is part of what inspired me to put this out there. Thanks Bud.

I've been moving way too much in the last few years and somehow eventually ended up in Texas. Funny how things work as I never saw myself here. I've been playing music in some fashion or another since I was 16 and love it. Its been great listening... [see more]
