Latin Lover

Description
This is a laid back Latin piece with horns. It took me a while to get the brass to sound good. I find the brass ensemble is the hardest to get the tone and articulation to sound authentic. Both rhythm and lead guitar parts were played on an Ibanez Archtop. As usual the graphic has nothing whatsoever to do with the music--it's just a nice shot of the polo field at Will Rogers Park in Pacific Palisades, California. I welcome your comments!

This makes me wish
I was one of those ballroom dancers so I could shake my stuff. Well done.
My broom got a work out. Got to work on those dips, though. Thank you.

You
came up with a really great sound and i know how hard it is to get the brass sounding right. Nothing can detract from that excellent guitar playing though(lovely tone) and that great beat would get anybody swaying,,,, even with a broom LOL, lovely music, regards M

Lovely groove
This has a lovely groove. The guitar is really sweet - lovely tone, and very nice playing. I'm with Maurice - those horns sound great. A lovely chilled piece that makes a body want to move. Very cool. Nicely done. Peace.

Gracias Amigo
The latin kick is on, so laid back you are pushing the fringes of the one. The horns behaved very nicely. Your fills are outstanding. Again, the multiple vibrato techniques you employ set you apart from the rest at MJ, not to mention there is never any guitar tard reverb on your tracks. Thanks.

Feel it
I find Latin to be a very difficult groove to truly capture. You my friend have done so with a taste of Wes Montgomery salt. Cool groove.

Lovely swaying feel to this. The brass is crisp and punchy - what did you use for that? Flowing lines to the guitar and a great tone. Sharp arrangement. Clean recording. I love it - glad I finally found it!
