A happy infecting tune that evolves towards the end. This was one of the first songs I composed when I was young. A little loose playing, but I like that live sound. Enjoy!

Me in a Yamaha APXII acoustic, my Washburn T-25 5 strings bass (I needed some big bottom end in this one), and a Casio strato PG300 guitar for some screaming sounds. Recorded via a Phonic Firefly 302 audio interface, preamplified with a Boss SE50 FX processor. Keys played in a Behringer Umx49.

Hey Macoco, this is so beautiful. You play so full of musicianship, straight from the heart in the intro and the track has such a lot of power, great, great , great, bravo!!!

Not your father's bossa nova
This is not the stereotypical latin pop, but I think that's a good thing. There are too many cliches out there.

Ok, nice track, but as a "tune" it's a bit weak. Lots of cool chords, not much melody.

Your bass provides a solid bottom end, but it feels like it's ahead of the beat in a number of places.

Oh yes!
Yes! No melody at all, it was not my intention for this to have a melody!
And the bass falling out of places... sometimes I get distracted when playing 8th or 16ths bass ostinatos... so I call those "little variations" ;)
Thanks for listening so carefully!
