Description
While exploring the sampled instruments, a tune emerged. The first impression was that of Alpine kitsch, hence the name.

A meadow...
I enjoyed strolling through.
Fine work.
Also see that you used Logic Express 8, with EWQL SO Silver I believe some Macjamers where having difficulties with this setup. Did you?

EWQL sort of worked :(
I did have problems as it was a fairly old version. I also exchanged a couple of emails about that. I was in my case able to load EWQLSO files into a separate (also old) Kontakt player, which was OK enough to get this version done. I have since switched to the VSL Special Edition.

Thanks for taking the time to listen to my song, I appreciate it.

Cute!
I especially liked the bassoon solo with timpani accompaniment. Isn't it fun to dabble with instruments like this?

WOW
Great tone for sampled instruments. Very well composed. Resrarined and nuanced. Enjoyed it.

The glory of the mountains
Lovely piece. A bit soft.

You're right,
it lacks some punch and is too repetitive in the middle. I'll probably return to it sometime in the future to redo it with the Vienna Symphonic Lib and then I'll try some enhancements in the structure.

I agree with Feter
This is very calming and gave me a generally good feeling while listening.

Outstanding job!

Pastoral calm
Very pleasant, with some very pretty melodies in there. I did find myself wishing there was more harmonic tension at some point — perhaps it could be imagined as some storm clouds passing through, followed by the calmer, pastoral feel that you create so well.

Good suggestion!
The bassoon part is indeed repetitive and boring and could lead to some tension. Thanks for the tip, I'll go back to the composition. Your input is much appreciated!
