we could lay the blame on one another
and point our fingers,
or we could start at guilt and move on to love

this could be good
we could build the best thing we ever had,
if only we could find what we want to say
in a brand new way

who said that nothing could come
from not knowing each other from the start?
but when did we start?

we should forget about guilt and move on to love.

Hey, Tim,
Let me welcome you to MJ! Nice first post. I'll be interested to hear what you bring to the party. Like you harmonies. Feter is right though on this one, you need a bit of a boost on the vox. Nice chordal changes, tasteful drums. tastes like The Replacements on one of their sober days a little.

Welcome to MJ! I think you have some mean chops. The instruments are great! Let you voice go-o-o-o! I know what its like to feel my voice can't compete, but I find that if ya just belt it out like you think it should be, then you can always fix it later (except in karaoke). try doubling the voice or using chorus or phaser. I usually start with EQ. Its amazing how you can put great tone on your voice or tweak out the annoying nasal stuff. Geeze! in garage band, you even have the vocal transformer so you can make yourself sound like someone else entirely.
Good stuff from a talented guy,
