Rasam Feat B'bay De Munday

 Genre: House

Bobby Friction (Radio 1, Asian Network) and his team run a section each week on the Asian Network show called Reproduced. They take a selection of producers and ask them to mix and mashup tracks and present this in a 15 minute slot. A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to be on the show with my 'Sly Mix' ( Over on my myspace page).

The same day Bobby was introducing B'Bay de Munday( Sir Manny, Avi Hans, Sadathya Tiger) a brilliant up and coming Indian Rap band from Mumbai.

I left a note on their website to say how much I had enjoyed listening to their interview. Not long after that, the boys contacted me and asked if I would be interested in working with them. They sent me one of their original tracks and asked me to create something new with it.

After 2 weeks of writing a whole new track and mixing just their vocals in, I am finally happy enough with the end result enough to post it up.

If you are into House/Dance then hopefully you will enjoy this one.

Rasam is the name for a Indian hot and spicy pepper soup.
The vocals are courtesy of B'bay de Munday with a little Slimmie backing ;)
