Description
This is a big departure from what I normally compose. This was 4 weeks of sessions 1 week of headaches and numerous changes. I was trying to expand my style as well as keeping my style. This was the most challenged I've been in a long time. Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks
Yeah this was actually harder to do because I wanted to go back to my usual rhythms. I had deleted so many parts that were jumping back in that direction. But in the end I had a blast with this one. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

John
I reckon this is the more the direction you should be going in, for me to play over i would prefer this vibe as there are a lot more possibilities and variations to jam with. It sounds like you really thought this out, where is that bass coming from? tidy... Love the brake downs, this is great. Kit is sounding nice and full. Cheers John.

Thanks Steve
Yeah I have been working on this one for quite awhile. Twice I scrapped it and started over. This was a challenging direction for me. Wanted to do a song with some "color". I think I fell a little short.

Sun Tzu says ...
be extremely subtle, even to the point of formlessness. Be extremely mysterious, even to the point of soundlessness. Thereby you can be the director of the listener's fate.

I like this very much. Sinister and growling. How did you do that bass? Guitars sound great. This should be further developed, I think.

That percussive bass is da bomb
I haven't heard your other work (yet) but this is a trip. There's definitely war goin' on there and it's definitely artful. Good stuff.

What..
a great track! I think the guitars need to be pulled up "ONLY" in the start of the tune. Otherwise... the mix sounds fantastic!

It sounds really good John.

BTW: The drum pic is sweet!

inspired bass lines!
i like this a lot, further proof that rock instrumental does not need widdly widdly wank guitar all over the place. the drums are really nice, though some of the edits sound a little jagged and the fade out is very quick. I particular liked the phase effect on the guitar in the 'chorus'. I'm gonna go check out some of your other tunes.
