Description
Nuthin special here, just one of those fun bar room jammers....

A HUGE thanks to TERRAPLANE for helping me bring this one to life ...the backup vocals and harpwork are all his, and he did a fantastic job with it. I couldn't have been happier with his music contribution and production help.

"Lazy River" is somewhat inspired by those creative brainlock problems that have been brought up on the forums. ...Riding that "Lazy RIver" is just as much a state of mind ...kick back, relax, have fun and it'll come!

*NOTE: If this isn't your cup of tea and you get the urge to bail early, at least check out Terry's awesome harp solo starting at about 3/4 of the way thru!

This is my cup of tea,
or maybe Long Island Iced Tea. Easy rock and the harmonies are great as is the harps solo. Nice bit of blues-rock Willy and Terraplane, great collab.

Nice to meet you Willy!
Any friend of Terry's is a friend of mine...

This is a fine bit of rockage. Strangely, it puts me in mind of the Moody Blues' "Lovely To See You Again."

Really like the lead guitar work which is somewhat reminiscent of Leslie West's playing. Nice singing too! And Terry's harp is always a treat!

Enjoyed the ride!

Be well friend!

Hey Thanks for the cool comments Michael. I'll have to check out the moody blues tune you mentioned. Funny you mentioned Leslie West. When I was putting the lead down, it reminded me of the Mississippi Queen lead. I was wondering if anyone else would notice. And yah, Terry sure did a number on that harp jam didn't he? Very fun guy ...great collab partner too!

This rocks!
Loved the way the drums build the song at the beginning and after the lead. Some fine guitar work especially the lead and the vocals are right on. Who's playing the harp?!? Great collab!

TF, thanks for dropping by for a listen and a comment. The killer harp work is from our fellow macjammer TERRAPLANE. He also put down all the backing vocals, as well as supplying some excellent production suggestions. Thanks again!

Great Song!
If it is not your cup of tea and you forward to the harp, you will miss a gem. The vocals, guitars, and harp blend together so well.
Great Job guys!!!

Just another one that got back into music after discovering GB. I started out 'Jammin' to folk stuff with my Grandparents in my early teens; some banjo, mandolin and guitar. Then I got into electric guitar, played in a few rock bands in my later ... [see more]
