To the South Pole

Get Flash to see this player.

'To the South Pole' is an overture to H.P. Lovecraft's 'At the Mountains of Madness'.
It captures the expedition on its way to Antarctica and anticipation of discoveries
(and not very pleasant ones, as all the minor keys hint). I omitted the entire
woodwind section here, doubled brass, added some ethnic percussion and a whole bulk
of electronics.
