Nice___

Incredible work John. I think the "drums" you played could have been a bit up in the mix however I think all in all this is and very nice track.

Thanks for sharing,

mvh : )

Glad
you liked it. It kind of dragged me in too. It not the style I normally play but I guess it isn't a bad thing to expand. Thanks for listening

Like it!
I like the mixture of style elements in this piece. In your hardware list you didn't mention your bass instrument, did you play it "live" or is it a sample? Sounds very nice, especially around 4:30.

Advice: there are some moments where the overall volume increases too much imho, for instance arond 0:57. I would smoothen it out a bit.

It may be a bit annoying, people always comparing your music with other bands, yet I should say this really reminds me of Ozric Tentacles. Which is a band I love.

Buried beneath the loops ...
lives and breathes a great idea for a killer tune. I know you're just messin' around with the loops, and I still think you're an incredible riffmeister. That guitar sounds great. How did you do that? I know you're getting tired of me saying this, but this needs to be distilled and expanded. You don't need no stinkin' loops.

Bits and pieces
I would never have guessed that this wasn't just one piece. A couple of the loops are a bit too well known but still sound good. But the stand out feature for me is, as always, your drums - could listen to them all day.
Cheers
Len

Senseless
Thanks for the piece. I recognize some of the components. The use put to them made sense, (sorry), this just smolders along. About 350 degrees... Maybe if you pull back the ticky guitar line and create two parts that converse with each other in a melodic manner...just any idea, sweep picking versus some taps? The back any forth tension might pick up on the dark colors in the track bed.

Great drum
work and there is a lot of sweetness and a bit of oriental melody mixed into this smorgasbord. Was a canary harmed in its making or did he come "cheep". Thanks.
