This song, the first of three songs of the sea is a mixture of folk and celtic styles in a synthesized performance of Suzi More, soprano and Kendell Kardt, baritone performing a song of love and longing amidst waves, dolphins and other sounds of the Sea.

Thank-you Peter, the arrangements were by Kendell, I originally scored it for keyboard and flute. He took it further. You have to have faith in the person in whose hands you put your songs.

This is a great idea!
Dear T,
That is a great idea. I wonder if I can do a gaelic translation for just the Blue song, it is part of a trio of songs, the last three o the "Blue" album. called Songs of the Sea. the second is a song called "When" and the closing song is "Vessel" maybe I shoud try to submit the other two so I can get some comments. One of my other songs "Silence" is done in a latin style and is in English and Spanish, I have thought of doing a version in Poruguese.

thank you for your comment.
Unfortunately, when this song was put on CD Baby, a few years back, I didn't realize it, but they only give about a minute of each song for people to hear and then they can buy it if they like it, the people at CD Baby only put the intro and it stops before the lyrics are heard, I am trying to get this fixed this week. I have only had my kid songs and a few of the "Blue" album songs really sell on the CD Baby and figured that no one really knew me, my background is classical and my original "Blue" materials I have performed to select audiences (fund raisers for my Art School and small clubs and coffee houses) and my children's songs for kid's concerts. I asked my daughter to check, she and her boyfriend did and said that my short classical pieces (German lieder, Opus 1 of a holocaust composer, Max Kowalski-1882-1956) were so short (about a minute each) that people could just download the songs)I really am not in it to make money because this is a project that was a labor of love and I want people to know hs music. I am not very healthy (or wealthy)now and must use my time wisely. I have enough new original songs to arrange for another CD and I will work on them after I finish another classical CD (Kowalski-Opus2) where there are only three songs but they are much longer than the first (4 minutes a song). Thank you again, I welcome feedback.

Belated welcome to Macjams!
There's a lot to enjoy here... I hope you don't mind me making suggestions for future music (which I hope you continue to share with us!) First of all, I really like the sound and strength of your voice, and Kendall's as well. And the overall piece is wonderfully written and orchestrated, very majestic.

But unfortunately, a few things mar the mer... I think the ocean-waves and dolphin-calls at the beginning could be softened slightly, and also the overall recording had far too much reverb/echo, which made the whole piece sound a bit murky.

I think with a little bit of tweaking on this mix, it would make this gem sparkle the way it should... even without those changes, I can hear great beauty here. Very nice! I would love to hear some of your classical works too! With a voice like this, I bet you will soon get requests to do collaborative pieces here too.
