A cinematic-type piece, this is my first composition with large-scale orchestral instrumentation. I composed the theme two years ago with the intention of creating a Narnia-themed album. Done completely in Finale, and rendered with Garritan sounds.

Welcome.... nice intro!
Wow, I can tell a lot of work went into this... very nice writing for orchestra here, I like the way you hand the themes off and leave space... sort of a promenade feel. Welcome to Macjams, you'll find a lot of kindred spirits here... Switched on Bach, aye? Yup, I had almost every album :-) So you must like Peter Schickele too. I look forward to hearing more of your works, and hope you get a chance to critique some of my stuff too.

what an incredible composition! very very well done. majestic and triumphant. full of joy and wonder. you've used each of your instruments perfectly, with variety and complexity. this never felt too thick or overdone, just wonderful. great work!

Very nice! You handle the orchestral composing well from my uneducated viewpoint. I have always loved orchestral music, but have no formal training. This piece is really inspirational.
Very well done,
