Seaside Samba

Description
Yet another short and sweet WIP (Work In Progress). This is a return to my first sketch, the undefined "Latin Smoothie." More of a salsamba rhythm to this one. Some different chord work used here with a bit of soloing. No percussion track, except for the opening where I use GB's rain stick to simulate ocean waves. I look forward to any and all comments. Thanks for listening.

A guitarist in pursuit of his ideal archtop is a guitarist whose word I take very seriously. Thank you for the kind words. I'll keep look out for your post when you decide which guitar you will select.

yeah
got that zing even with out the back up band. Made me think I was in for a Basia tune right at the start. Tight tasty rhythmic comping. Nice

Talent!
This is true talent, such a dynamic musician. Your phrasing is that of a vocalist, you make your axe sing . . .

:: Fantastic ::

All it needs is a little production and its done. The rain stick sounds a little hokey though. Doesn't GB have ocean waves and sea sounds in its sound effects? I think I used them on my Poem "The Lemming". I would change that so it matches the fine quality of your playing which is superb .

Ocean Surf
Thanks for the big tip, sschedra. I never thought of exploring the new GB. I just found OCEAN SURF under the PODCAST/SOUND EFFECTS/AMBIANCE.

I'll make the switch next chance I get.

Sunny & Sublime.
Hey, Big E, this is a perfect soundtrack to my sunny autumn Sunday morning. Too short but sweetly sublime. I've liked your music for so long, but I forgot to subscribe to your posts; that'll change as soon as I post this comment.

Delightful
I always appreciate the simplicity
of only two guitars.
I should do more
of those myself.

Fine work.

Merci !
