I couldn't
tell you now, what the difference is with the last post, because I've nothing to compare it with, but it stills brings back those cinematic memories I spoke of, before. Definitely got that hot desert Eastern atmosphere and with that touch of Grandeur.... the pace is very evocative of a camel train wandering the endless sands as in that lovely artwork above.... excellent work of course and very entertaining, regards M

Thanks Maurice...
for giving this a second listen. I quickly took down its first post after hearing some things that weren't working. Probably minor but they bothered me. I still hear new problems that I will modify (lots of tracks in this easy to miss something). Also I augmented the ending giving it more of an Arabian feel.
Best,
Charlie

I think you have successfully captured the essence of the "Arabian Nights" sound. I can visualize a crowded market in Cairo, or a long camel train in the Sahara. It also has a real nostalgic sense to it - kind of makes you think of the old days in film, or to put it a different way : they don't make em like that anymore. Enjoyed your work - I did notice that your timing appeared to be off in a couple of places, or it could have been me, but it did not detract from the enjoyable experience of listening. Thanks for sharing - Sig

Thanks Sig,
Very nice comment & I'm happy you liked it. You're also right about the timing. There are places where it should be tighter. I've been working on it and am getting close fixing it but it's a tricky with so many tracks with lots of long lines and short hits. I should learn to be more patient and wait till it's "right" but sometimes I get so enthused that I can wait to bring out my "child".
Take Care,
Charlie

This really does
conjure up memories of those great old films, I am imagining Humphrey Bogart or Peter Lorre.
Very well done Charlie.
