The joy of Finally Getting Over The Pain

Description
This is dedicated to ALL those that have had a root-canal and afterwords took the wrong antibiotics like I did :(
I went through the terrible ordeal and I was not a happy camper to say the least, but it sure felt better when I finally took the right antibiotic ! The doctor asked me if I was allergic to penicillin and I just didn't know that I was. So I took it and that really caused some hurt. I just got over that extreme pain after realizing that it was the WRONG one and took a different one ! What a relief !!!! :) There is a little bit of "Affair To Remember and Swedish Rhapsody in this".

I could tell you stories...
But I like this 'story in a song' better! This is the 'upbeat' side to your little tale, and I like it a lot. I can hear your musical references, but it is still definitely your trademark style, Bill.

One can feel the relief
It's beautiful, Bill, and more sprightly than I've ever heard you play. One can tell you were feeling GOOD when you wrote this!

Love the song... just NOT the story behind it... I'm suffering from a minor chest/nasal cold that is driving me nuts... Can't even imagine the wrong AB... Beautiful work!

Bill.. joy...
It is a balm to hear your song. Crystal bright string sounds of enjoyment to my ears this morning. Sorry to hear about your ordeal. I hope all is well. From the sound of your playing, all is. And I really love the chords (minor 7th?) you play in the ending.

Hoping you have a good year.

They say
'No pain; no gain', well it seems you got all the gain in the form of talent and that's why you just had to pay your dues LOL. I know too, exactly what you've been through with root canals and Penicillin and you have my sympathy on that score. Thank you for this wonderfully warm and relaxing piece of music... just what I needed after the bustle of the holidays, all the best M

The Joy
ACK - what a horrible story!! starting with the root canal is bad ENOUGH, without antibiotic horrors on top of it. how you managed to write this fabulous, happy little tune after such an ordeal only speaks to your character! :) - thanks bill!

I like this snazzy little number. Lightness after the ordeal. I don't know how you do it, but it's great playing.:-)

new Bill Furner songs on my MJ play list. I've had my share of root canal treatments Bill, and even if they don't stuff up the meds it can still be a problem.
Great tune (as always) glad you're feeling better.
