Description
Charles Rissew (crissew) and I did this together. I did the acoustic guitar parts at DSP Studios. and I did the bass and drums at home with logic express! This is based on a true story. Ask Charles. You know me. I never post the lyrics.

You're a Natural Born Killer
I like what you did with this. While the main character is not a likable guy, this is a very likable song. The chorus is cool (I'm just getting started wait and see). Great chords in the chorus as well.

Rough
Rough started out as a mystic song that ended up a western!! Thanks for the listen. Funny sometimes how that happens.

Well done guys
Some heavy stuff going down here (then again, the same could be said for "Mack the Knife" written 70 years ago, so there's always room for an unusual song done this well!) Excellently executed and delivered; a very exciting track! Thanks for sharing this.

The song is a true story
I did this song about a little know gunfighter, named James 'killer' Miller. Also known as "The Deacon", he was a regular church goer. Never smoked or drank but was one of the most cold blooded killers in the history of the wild west. He was rumored to have killed over 50 men in his lifetime. Was everything from a murderous Texas Marshal to a hired hitman. He was rumored to have killed Pat Garrett although that is in dispute. He was aquitted in trial several times, mostly due to the fact that people that testified against him found themselves at the other end of his shotgun blast. He killed many lawmen as well as his prosecutor. He killed many Mexicans, his brother in law, and both his grandparents. He was as cold blooded as they come. He finally was dragged from his jail cell by a lynch mob and hanged. The mob feared he would get off yet again so they took no chances. The other men who were lynched with him begged for mercy but not Miller. He shouted "Let er rip!" and jumped off himself. He hung for several hours while people took photographs of his hanging.

I am a bit surprised
that in this age that has endured gansta rap and some pretty raunchy lyrics, that people are that shocked by the lyrics in this song. I guess I got the point across that I was going for; i just didnt think it would be to the degree that has been. The story was from the 1st person, but i am not talking about me, it is a wild west gun fighter

Wow!
Fortunately, most of those loonies don't seem to get away with it as long these days.
An interesting tune to say the least. I can't really say I enjoyed it, but I'm glad I heard it. I think.

James " Killer" Miller
Like that driving acoustic guitar. Great lines: "I'm just getting started" - "150$ for a dead man". Ominous sounding guitar chords are right for this lyric. Great vocs and harmonies.

Wow - seriously good
Everything here is so nicely recorded and mixed Steveand Charles. I'd have liked the drums to kick in at a more dominant level in the chorus, and maybe you could have driven the whole thing with a beefed up kick drum throughout. I'm really impressed by the song, the recording, the playing, the collab, the vox - everything really.

Thanks Neil. Means a lot. There wasnt any drums. Just percussion. The bass drum sound is an african drum. The band is looking at this song and they are saying the samething. So will do!!!

nice tight vocals from Charles- loved the percussion (worked well with the cowboy guitar). I was expecting a bar room brawl, or a cactus as artwork at the very least .. sheesh ;o) Excellent collab guys.
