A nocturnal visitation.

Info: Other than the male vocal performances by myself, no live instruments were used. I heavily use the musical typing function in GB to compose. It takes time, and a lot of layers but it's worth it. All of the drones are modified stock instruments in the program, I DL'd the spectral series and it is a huge help. The running time is a bit long, but this song is experimental, and in progress really. I wasn't certain of the feel or quality to it. It still feels more disjointed then i had originally intended.

Ever remember
A dream that is both erotic and frightening at the same time? You don't want it to end but pray that it does at the same time. I just decided to compose a soundtrack to the fleeting memory of one of those.

sounds and drones in this,I like the throat singers, I think it goes on a bit long with the same theme, maybe could use a bit more developement. Also I'd like to see more info on how this project was constructed, loops, synths, homemade sounds? etc etc
Good start though, Thanks for sharing.

Image and mood
I hope I don't meet her even in a bright alley. There are some cool ideas going on, I would agree that this could be further developed and really push the whole menacing theme. Reminds me of some of the soundtrack music to that computer game "Diablo".

Outstanding vocal performance. Scary and serious. I didn't fine the length to be a problem at all. The kids' (?) voices off on the sides are a particularly nice effect. Very effective at conveying a sense of the dark side, which, strangely enough, I find refreshing.

Recurring Dream
Loved this. Won't go into how closely the image of the Succubus haunts my own nighttime imagination(!) , but i loved the ancient menace in this piece. The drones and chants give a sense of timeless energy, and there is a sensual edge to it as well that is very alluring. Really captured something true and edgy here, like a revenant from another age, still finding meaning in our deepest places.
