Description
[AN EXTENDED AND REPRODUCED VERSION OF THE ORIGINAL, BY POPULAR DEMAND]

it is the onset of the rainy season here in Phnom Penh, which means a daily pattern of gathering storm clouds that break loose each afternoon with downpours of cooling rain, breaking though the oppressive tropical heat...it still transfixes my prairie heart, every time...this track is closing my eyes and listening to the rainstorm on a lazy afternoon here in Cambodia

A delightful afternoon rainstorm
but exotic - definitely not a prairie rain. Very pretty Warren but it could be even longer ;-)

glad you liked it...
...and I think you are one of those who suggested the original be extended, but I think this will probably be as far as I take this concept. Definitely not a prairie rain, you're correct...although the unusual amount of rain they are getting on the Canadian prairies this year are making it seem more like the tropics from what I understand...

kampuchea rain redux
We have the same weather this time of year here in Florida. I never thought to put it to music. I like the steel pan-like melodic sound. Good stuff!

tropical chill
I kept my umbrella closed ... the rain falling so silently on me, purifying from all heaviness and inertia after a long day. So delightful!

thanks, mission accomplished...
so pleased it resonated with you, in just the kind of way I hoped it would....and man do I wish it was more "chill" here in the tropics! (wiping sweat from brow...)

It is one of the hottest nights I've ever experienced where I live---thanks for bringing some refreshingly cool breezes my way. Excellent work on this!

New and Fresh
Very different for you, once again. Great Synth Intro!!!! WOW!!!!!

I like that this just stays mellow and wow that rain makes it all just plain awesome.

I literally have no complaints just suggestions. I would maybe try as an alternative mix to add some drums in there.

Maybe you might want to tone up the treble in some of the elements so they come out more clearly.

Otherwise, I have no complaints whatsoever. Enjoyed this, probably more than anything else you've made so far.

Transfix
Amazing, not, that there can be places of earth so entirely unlike what you thought was normal? I enjoyed this, the rain drops and the electronic plinking both.
