Description
This is a song written by woofer3 (John Jenkins) and is a beautiful recollection of the girls of Canton. I added the guitars and John suggested I post it on my page. Go to woofer3 for the original version.

I hope you like it.

Lyrics
Canton girls - [1965-2010]

You’d better believe there ain’t no girls like Canton girls,
I’m telling you now you won’t find girls like Canton girls,
They will never let you down,
They all make the cutest sounds.

Ain’t no girls around the world like Canton girls.
You can take them at their word Canton girls,
Always good to have around,
You can trust them pound for pound,
Ain’t no girls around the world like Canton girls.

Canton girls will never be unkind,
Canton girls will tell you love is blind,
In their hearts they’ll carry you,
Everywhere they go,
You won’t ever go far wrong with Canton girls.

SOLO –as verse,

Canton girls will never be unkind,
Canton girls will tell you love is blind,
In their hearts they’ll carry you,
Everywhere they go,
You won’t ever go far wrong with Canton girls,

They smile as they drink your wine Canton girls.
Never hurry take their time Canton girls,
They won’t ever do you wrong,
You’ll find out that you belong,
Safely in the company of Canton girls.

Nice work Tim. I really enjoyed the vocal effect on the chorus. Your guitar work is exceptional.

Canton Girls
This song reminds me of the Beatles' slower tempo stuff--what a great song. Love the chord change at 1:56. I really like this! :)

Thanks!
Thanks mvh and Catalina for listening and commenting. There certainly is a George Harrison influence on my guitar playing in this one, but I didn't want to distract in any way from woofer's great song.

Thanks again for listening and commenting.

Very nice!
I'm not well versed in rock music, but this is done in a style I know I've heard before and always liked--but with a neat spin done by you guys. Very enjoyable--I like it very much and just wanted to let you two know what a fine job you did. Thanks again and take good care now!

For a pop song
this is very relaxing.... I think the synth does that. The guitar part has that Oriental lilt.... I like the lyrics... not a lot of songs about Canton girls and I like the doubling of the vocal tracks too, regards M

Canton girls
I'd like to thank everyone here for their comments and also Tim for playing such complimentry and graceful guitar lines that have added so much to the song. Written about and dedicated to the Canton girls in Cardiff South Wales.

Me Pleasure
I'm glad I didn't muck it up. It's a great and beautiful song and if there were justice in the music business it would be gagging Gaga for number one. Preferably with a bullet.
