Description
Ok, so here it is. Now there is a BIG sound towards the end. T'was a mixing nightmare but I think it's just about right now. Although a further listen tomorrow with fresh ears might lead to minor changes, that and any comments received about the mix. In deference to and with further thought on Pari's comment about the second section melody sound I did a bit of programming and added an organic sample to the existing digital oscillator. It sounds a lot less like Vangelis now I hope. Also with regards to sound and Vic's comment; the sound he hears as seagulls is actually called Ocean Seagulls. I don't know whether he knew that or not...... ;-)

I added a bit more atmosphere under the beginning.

Thanks for following along. And thanks for all the appreciated constructive comments.

Sweet
I like the new "Vangelis-sound" even if it can't hide the overall feeling of "Vangelisque" music in that latter part of the song. A funny thing is the two or three seconds around 3.43 that sounds a lot like Tangerine Dream's Sourcerer album, only they morph into "Vangelis" directly afterwards. Vangelis of course has had his moments of great mixing, but TD were never as good as yours, Andrew. So, wow, three of my all time favorites in one song - sweeeet. Thanks!

The master
of the huge soundscape. That is what you are. Great sounds as always. Great build in this song. Patient and methodical. Great drums too, amazing how you get such a great sound out of only a keyboard. Killer job!

Haunting
In my opinion, you have a very unique style; different than Vangelis. Stronger & more gritty in delivery.

The percussion tracks sound slightly similar, or I should say, may be inspired by Peter Gabriel. Are you a fan of his?

Either way, the piece is quite unique and pricks my conscience when I just sit & listen. Very thought provoking tune. I love it!
