Not too sure what kind of song this is? Any ideas? This was sent off to Gaylen and KTB for their treatments.

Thanks again you chaps for your help and creativity.

bars of the cages
help us cover up the lie
obscure the faces
of the innocent we blame

follow me down
by force habit
follow me down
little white rabbit

when you close your eyes
and final wake up
to real life

forget the light now
and resign yourself to dream

I hurt, like you hurt,
like maybe we all should hurt.
Inside, deep inside
where I hide my indignation,
Beneath a vale of vicious skies,
I stand staring up at the you,
into your pale, judgmental eyes.

Why am I so pained?
Was I promised a mystery?
I stand alone in pain
in the shadow of a mountain.

I have no power
there's no love lost with you.
But if I can't trust myself,
how can I trust you?

Punished before stride,
hallowed out from inside,
On the eve of my resurrection,
who decides?
I am your son,
your flesh and blood,
you ask too much
you ask too much

Not strong enough to fight,
not strong enough to resign

let me hang around your neck and give me reason
what the heck show your shame its sinning season
live you life without regret live it hard core
what the hell do you think that i died for

I died for you

Great track! And it's good to finally hear something from Gaylen. I haven't heard anything new from him since.......um........yesterday. Holy shit! He's like a never ending fountain of great ideas.

Well there it is.
This turned out so different than I had envisioned. It is much more exsposed and emotive. Very cool mix with Ktb.

Steve, that bass is sonic rock friend. I can "feel" it like I was at a concert. Nice and dreamy in the mix...feels deliciously free. Gaylen
steps it up again. That part at the 2:50 mark slays me.

Killer bass
part. I really dig that. It really drives the song along.

Interesting song. I wouldn't quite know where to place this either.

Great collab. Great vox by Gaylen as usual.

Very dark & mysterious, just like the cover art. The blend of sounds moving with the bass line is just great. Dunno what kind of song it is but it is very cool.

Just wondering
what sabor is: Parliament of Croatia??
Absolute monster track - these collaborations are working beautifully. You should form a band.
Downloaded. Thanks.

This is top. Atmospheric and superbly produced. Cracking bass and I love those stabbing, panning guitars that pop up. Really good vocals in the mix too.
Great stuff.
I also happen to know what genre this falls under.

Tigers and lions?
Impressed again by the sometimes punchy, sometimes ethereal guitar, and the subtle shades of the keys. Good dynamics treatment on the drums. Man, this tune has a lot of depth to it. Figure it could have been about twice as long. Interesting lyrics (I think I get it), although it's not clear what sabor or sabors have to do with it (I laughed at Len's comment on that). And where has Gaylen been hiding? Anyway, another uniquely creative out-of-the-box piece of musical goodness. Really like this one, gents.

Dream Rock?
This has such an original sound and style.... it is rock and yet it has a dreamlike quality to it and is hypnotic in that it holds the listener and you all played a great part in this.... excellent collab, regards M

Nu Schizo Ballad perhaps?
Steve bro, you are trying to dissolve something. My head for example.
I hear some subtle oriental influences. The change @ 2:40 is awesome. Ahh, those touches of piano. The lyrics got a lot of energy in the end. Powerful, direct and still open to interpretation.

Mix is great. Fills the whole space and then some. Pro sound.

A lot of creativity from every side of the collab.

Nice work
I'm digging this a lot. Not sure what to call it, but you have a tendency to break genres apart. I like the instrumentation a lot, but your vocals on this is pretty smooth. Especially with the way you have the background vocals accompany you at times.

I thought
I had left a comment. A world weary ballad with a lot of spunk. It is progressive, emotive, dark and contemplative. Great music and lyrics and singing that pretty much...stun. :)

steve your percussion is incredible...as is the soundbed. l really love those little guitar noodles you do...they sound twangy and haunting. the section at 2.50 where gaylen gets angry is fab...and those last few piano chords at the end are a dream.
