Description
A song written as part of an album inspired by JRR Tolkien's 'Lord of the Rings'. This particular piece is the final number, and evokes the atmosphere of 'The Grey Havens', though placing the listener in a more personal relationship to the action, as if Elrond was addressing any who might hearken to him, and take ship for another shore.

Lyrics
Elrond's Call
Meet me when, the leaves turn gold and fall,
Come, my friend, and heed my yearning call,
Together we’ll ride, out to the Tower Hills,
Slip unseen, through the night so soft and still
Oh, bright is the moon on the rolling sea,
A white ship waits by a lonely quay,
All your journeyings are done, save one,
All your days of fear and pain, are run,
Your soul is old, and yearning to be free,
Bright with love, ready to go with me.
Oh, bright is the moon on the rolling sea,
A White ship waits by a lonely quay,
Oh, say of me, I didn’t go alone,
Say of me, that I went home!
Still for a while, I linger yet ashore,
Though my soul, is dying to the world,
Crying gently for the farthest shore,
Soon this earth, will see my face no more.
Oh, bright is the moon on the rolling sea,
A White Ship waits by a lonely quay,
Oh, say of me, I didn’t go alone,
Say of me, that I went home!

Sincere vocs and simple arrangement work well for this song. Nice job.
