Sometimes
I look at the picture - read the title - start listening and then open a window for wikipedia. This is one of those times.
Quite a mercurial amalgamation you've created here. Not sure I'm getting to the tooth of the matter - but I'm digging the mix.
Nice work. The lawn sprinkler is inspired. Love the layered voices too.

headphones help - whee! there are children, hope and fear, culminating in a squirrel

the sprinkler happened because after some experimenting. i found the tuned flange effect worked best on noisy wide-band sounds with percussive aspects - the drums were the obvious choice, but for contrast, the sprinkler worked nicely and by mere coincidence it seemed to be at the right BPM

by way of explanation: "In general, amalgamation is the process of combining or uniting multiple entities into one form."

thanks

Cool rhythms
Making a melody around ambient sounds and voices is so creative. For some reason Japan comes to mind when I hear this.

The drugs, the drill, the kids in the waiting room,(smiling and happy) all make this very interesting. I hope the squirrel lives.

There's a great filling going on here...
(don't know why the puns started) but I think I've heard this before, maybe in a dentist's chair? Far out work you do Bill, and cheaper than drugs.

Drill baby drill
This is pretty psychedelic in my headphones. I like all the layers of sound I hear, and the driving beats. Reminds me of my own dentist-inspired tune, Nitrous. I can't tell what the voices in this song are telling me, but it took me on a nice trip.
