Guardian Of Thunder

Get Flash to see this player.

This song is a tribute to Thor, the Norse god of thunder.
I do have lyrics.
This is not the final version of this song, so I hope for your feedback.
I plan to do a proper recording with real flugelhorn, violin, and drums.

This piece is heavilly influenced by a song title "twilight of the Thunder God", by the Swedish Metal band Amon Amarth.
My goal is to further develop it into my own song, based on your suggestions.

a bit of a slow start and then it fired up. cool energy. great build up. is it true TheDanseLeviathan says that it is a direct copy of Amon Amarth's song "Twilight of the Thunder God"?????. sounds good though.

The intro
The intro is actually a performance piece I'm developing for my band's live show.
It is done in real time with one guitar and a looper pedal.

I totally dig your song art. Where is it from?
I also like the epic nature of this. Looking forward to real vocals, maybe a lead guitar. Good start. If you add guitar, you need to give it a place in the arrangement, maybe a key change into something more driving, like those classic metal moments? And thunder or a hammering drum part would be nice, a heavy John Bonham thing.

Asbolutely brilliant!
Hey Tobin,
Brilliant suggestions!
There should definitely be Hammering drums ala Bonham and thunder.
Thank you, thank you.
