A song that actually strays into philosophical argument- probably a bad idea- but hey!
who cares. lol

That radiant abounding power,
The light that lights the dawning hour,
Wakes all the world to vision's might,
Is in itself unseen to sight.

Though drops in cloud or dusty air
May sketch the ways of sunrays there
On shining, eastern sky, what's seen
is made of myriad small gleams.

Even the aura of the dawn
And the sun's own blazing form
Are hues from atmospheric force
Of earth and sun, not light's own course.

We do not see the rays in space
Expanding widely from sun face.
Nor find the dark of night's deep sky
As full of light from each star's eye.

So when I hear it claimed that all
That's real is found perceived in sense,
I think how light that lights it all
Lives as an unseen radiance.

I think how light that lights it all
Lives as an unseen radiance.

An unseen radiance.
