Lyrics
Yea I guess I’m doing all right
Get up and go to work every day
Drag myself home every night
Sometimes I see Maria's face along the way
As I slip off into the night
Dreams ive had are dreams that never go away
In and out of nothing and back to where I was again

I can believe I’m still running around this old town
I can’t believe I’m still holding this piece of ground

Dragging around sometimes
Pulling my feet along wearing an old soul
Looking back I see the streets broke and cracked
Just call it another day
Got to keep on moving got to keep moving on

Refrain
I been down a before I always make it through I find the way.
I am going to break out
My feet will hit the ground
Not going to have anymore doubt

We go head on into our lives
Like nothing ever happened but it will never be the same
Have you ever really wondered have ever really thought about

I get a Bob Seegar/John Mellencamp vibe from this. Some good lines in the lyric ("In and out of nothing and back to where I was again","Pulling my feet along wearing an old soul", "Looking back I see the streets broke and cracked") Voc/harmonies are solid, and the stripped down arrangement works well.

Thanks again Dave
I may add more too this song, I think it would work electrically with some piano and synth sounds.
