This is another forgotten mix from last month. A shorter piece this time with more sound than music but then Ambient is soundscape rather than music from my point of view, as a composer (not listener).

Another idea of a sunset somewhere out there in outer space, or of otherworldly animals getting settled down for the night in the harsh backdrop of their world.

Any thoughts you have would be welcome.

I really do
get your ideas! Often I read the description, close my eyes and I see exactly what you propose. Very interesting!

oh to spend an hour in your brain
I wish I could just find forgotten mixes laying around all the time. I find your titles almost as fascinating as your soundscapes. Is there a rhyme and reason? Anyway, you certainly bring order to the chaos with your compositions. absolutely love this one. can i say it was too short and ended too abruptly? cool stuff Paul.

A lot of Reinholtian
outer space sounds in this one, especially in the first half or so, but towards the end is something fairly new, I think, with the slow settling down. Nice.

May I also to take the opportunity to say that I find myself repeatedly listening to your previous track Stellar Nursery, which I find way too cool, a real classic in the genre. Thanks for that one, as well as for this.

Take care,

I have written that there is no one who composes other-worldly soundscapes like Paul Reinholt. This is another is a very long series of beautifully-crafted numbers that seems to ooze through outer space in languid fashion, leaving stardust in its wake — gentle, meandering, controlled, and eminiently listenable.
