Description
My second real attempt at getting to grips with Logic express. It is a song to make you dance and move, maybe in an unnatural way, what ever takes your fancy. I hope you like it. I'm sorry it is my first post for a while.

Yes I am back
and trying to capture my heady early days when I had loads of time and the music streamed out of me. Well maybe not. Glad you liked it. I will always try to help when I can. Automation was what I got stuck in to on this track, oh and mastering without mastering plugins.

Martin!
Welcome back! This is wonderfully energetic and fun. The mix, as far as I can tell on my laptop speakers, is crisp and clear. Sounds like you're doing great in your exploration of Logic. Keep it up!

Thank you
I did try to get a fresh sound and added some compressed sub base frequencies on a seperate bus to try and extenuate the bottom end. Listen to me getting all techy, I am just glad you enjoyed it, I hope you had a little dance?

Logic Master
Sounds like you are getting a pretty good handle on mastering in Logic. Had to go put this on the big speakers and dance! It has a solid low end beat without mush, and the melody is clear and punchy. Who needs plug-ins?

You are most kind
Thank you for listening. I may have added ID3 tags to my MP3, which may be causing the flash player some problems, so thank you for bearing with it. I hope the parallel compression (New York compression), which I experimented with help the bottom end. It appears it did.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Life is too short for regrets, just embrace the groove, embrace the life, go forth and create. Well that is my philosophy. If you listen, you will hear.... [see more]
