Description
I lead the music at church.... this often involves quite a bit of arranging.... Every Christmas we sing the same music, so I really wanted to introduce something new... in the process of working this out in the studio, I was programing some drums.... and on a whim I asked my son Ian to play this with me, while only a Sophomore in high School, he’s starting to show some very real talent and understanding of the instrument.... needless to say, I was more than pleasantly surprised.... so I’d like to introduce my son Ian Carmichael on drums and my son Dane played Bass... so the band is all my sons and myself... I use these mp3’s to teach vocal parts to the team of musicians... but i was happy with this and decided to post it...
Merry Christmas...

Lyrics
God rest ye merry gentlemen Let nothing you dismay
Remember, Christ, our Saviour Was born on Christmas day
To save us all from Satan's power When we were gone astray
O tidings of comfort and joy, Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
Fear not then said the Angel, This is your promised night
For now is born the Lamb of God to save man from his plight
To free all those who trust in Him From Satan's power and might."
O tidings of comfort and joy, Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
Tidings of comfort tidings of joy
heaven has spoken his mercy deployed
the dead will soon rise up and blind men will see
these chains have been broken
and we shall be free
Now to the Lord sing praises, All you within this place,
And with true love and brotherhood Each other now embrace;
As we become the vessles of His tenderness and grace
O tidings of comfort and joy, Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
Tidings of comfort tidings of joy
heaven has spoken his mercy deployed
the dead will soon rise up and blind men will see
these chains have been broken
and we shall be free
Remember, Christ, our Saviour Was born on Christmas day
To save us all from Satan's power When we were gone astray
O tidings of comfort and joy, Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
