Description
An instrumental piece dedicated to my newly adopted daughter. The gentle phrases of this song, I hope, may express the thankfulness I have to God, for the joy love and pleasure that she has brought to me and my family.

Congratulations
on your newly adopted daughter, and on this gentle piece.
The best stuff, for me, is after the first retard, and you
might want get there sooner. Or maybe not. It is a lovely
tune.

Congratulations
Thanks. This is actually my first complete composition.

You're right I think about it taking too long to get to the first ritard.

I'm sure I'll revise it in the future.

Thanks for listening,

Stephen.

Thankfulness
This is full of warmth and preciousness, great playing and
steadfast joy. So grounded. Excellent harp accents.
Consider replacing the voice ahs with another sound, or a
new layer, a little earlier on to add a variable of sound as
the song continued, perhaps. Very nice use of accordion.
The last guitar solo comes in a little hot, also, but is
wonderfully played and a great addition. And excellent
ending. Such a great song, really well conceived and
performed. Thank you for sharing this.

Thankfulness
Oh I hoped the "warmth" came through, even if it wasn't perfect.

It does have potential. The "ahhhhs" are a stop-gap, for now. :)

Thanks for your encouraging and thoughful reply.

Lovely sounds
I agree that the song could benefit from a shorter
build up to the more complex stuff, but only because
the complex stuff is so right for the song and so
beautifully integrated. You have a good ear for
putting the right thing in the right place.

Bit sappy...
but that's entirely forgivable in this case.

Your daughter looks like a sweety. Hope you will be very
happy with her, and she with you.

nice
and sweet, flows very well. Like the synth in the backround.
Like that oriental feel to it as well. And that synth choir
effect.
