Central Park Lullaby (feat. Mosaica)

 Genre: Jazz (vocal)

I have been looking for quite a while for a vocalist to cover this tune, and it finally paid off: Mosaica has sent me a beautiful vocal track. Enjoy!
I play EWI through the GarageBand guitar track with vibrato pedal and some other effects.

A moment's quiet in a maze
So full of sound
As you walk in your mind
From the day left behind
All you conspire with the sun
Will drift away
And the moon sheds her tears
For the passing of years

Night falls like petals off a rose
Left in the cold
And the trees whisper low
In a voice soft as snow
You are unsettled by the dark
That shadows cast
Under bridges you tread
Over thoughts left unsaid

If you are traveling a road
You didn’t choose
It’s the way not the where
It’s the wind in your hair
As time unravels in your palm
You let it fly
There’s a place where you go
And a life that you know

Great sounding track. I love how well you fused modern synth tones with a traditional latin jazz feel. Great vocal! I love the scat section particularly.

Old Time Glamour

Something of old time charm about this tune, which is hinted at in the title. Like the accompaniment and the vocals very much.

Nice song for winter, something to leave the listener feeling a bit warmer!

Thank you!

I love the tone of the EWI
OMGlet me listen
evry detail is mixed just as clean as frresh fallen snow
like the waves in a quiet lake
a solo
OMG (i know thats old)
That tone rules
brazzin skat
successfully performed to a T
The EWI brings such drama and such
hmmm theatrical feel

Rosalind's contribution is outstanding. A little Basia-esque. The progression is sweet, as is your expressive solo'ing. Nice chops on the production - very pro sounding. Glad I caught this
