hey vijay..welcome to the mad-house. i'm listening thru the macbook speakers and the beat is very out front...too much for me. what are you recording on? i'm liking the synth sound. the transitions are a bit sudden...i wonder whether it might help to vary the beat...maybe put if a few stops...to let the rest breathe.

sound advice
hackneybloke, thanks for dropping by. I am using Reaper V4 ( aplha) and H50M monitors. I'm trying to get a hang of mixing , mastering seems to be my Achilles heel. I think I know what the problem is - on the master buss I placed a compressor, maximizer and limiter . I was watching a tutorial from Sebastien Leger that was his setup and I tried to replicate I think it has probably caused havoc.I will go and rework it and put in some variation as you said . Thanks for the advice Bud its proper spot on mate.

Cool beat
I am listening through my Studio monitors, It sounded pretty good.. the bass hits hard!! Love that trippy bassline (The polysix>??) I enjoyed it, thanks for sharing.

Mastering is something I spend lots of time trying to get down too, I listen through a wide variety of different speakers, headphones and systems..It helps, but I still have trouble with it. Anyways, thanks for sharing CL!

Love the texture
Starting listening on my dodgy laptop and then plugged in headphones to get a proper listen - love it. The tempo changes are unexpected and the whole song has a nice trippy vibe. Loads of texture and much to enjoy in this.
