Description
Years ago in my teens, I played the organ every weekend at a church and am very delighted to find I've lost all fingering technique since then! Oh well! With its flaws and all, you guys don't hear me play too often, so it's my small way of showing my appreciation to you this season.

I won't be around much until after the holidays, so I wish every one of you a very bright and joyful Christmas and a very Happy Hanukkah! Thanks for making this a wonderful year both with your talent and your friendship.

Michael

"Hark the Herald Angels Sing" is in the public domain.
Organ: Michael

(PS: The sound might be better with headphones--I've not really figured out processing this instrumental stuff off my keyboard very well yet)

Merry Christmas
Thanks for this gift, Michael - just like being in church (well except for the last couple of bars?). Have a great Christmas!

If the
red cha-cha shoes help you hit the pedals with more style, definitely, I'd get them, if I were you. I have a feeling you were wearing your propeller hat and it made you play the very irreverent but delightful ending. You. winging it, are better than anyone else going for it, in serious gravity. I'm impressed. Thank you for you. Hope you have a love and fun filled holiday.

Hark
Michael, this sounded ace through my headphones. Really nice stuff. Reminded me, oddly enough, of a comedy Christmas album I had as a teen where old classics where reworked, including "Hark, the hair-lipped angels sing"! Extremely politically incorrect but made me howl. And as for the organ fingering technique you learned in church, I ain't touching that one with a ten foot pole! Goodness me!
Anyhow, the sound on this is great. The organ sounds more like an orchestra!
Merry Christmas to you and Stephen. I hope you get your cha-cha shoes!

There isn't a serious bone in his body, folks
seriously! The first part of this Michael is great: so many Christmas-in-church memories come flooding back. The last part is 100% you! See you next year, I hope.

Merry Christmas to you...
Michael, well played. Simplicity on the organ in keeping with good church organ etiquette. And the finale flourish... pure Kleinism!

cheers,
Jack

Hark!
ooh - love the organ! i never got the hang of moving my fingers on the keys w/o benefit of a sustain pedal - that's really hard! (not to mention playing the low register with your fricking FEET!) sounds great - happy holidays to you michael!

lost all fingering technique?
I wouldn't know which finger to give the organ, myself... but you seem to do very well with many simultaneous fingers... sounds organic to me! And hey, if you're not going to eat that last bit of roast beast... love your little diddly bow-tie on the end, made me smirk.
