Coalesce (Instrumental)

 Genre: Rock

Instrumental version of Coalesce. You probably can't tell but there's more going on here than just turning off the vocals. Some remixing plus a few new notes here and there to help the piece work without vocals. It's also based on the original full version and not the shorter radio edit. And I've made available for download. Feel free to grab yourself a copy. If you do download it, please leave a comment and give me some feedback. Enjoy.

Gentle ringing tone for the opening piano. The band comes in with a hit! Love the full sound around 1:50. You keep introducing new elements that maintain interest. Tasty guitar solo! The break at 3:10 works, too. I like the majestic brass around 4:10. Clean mix with everything having its own space. Much enjoyed! Thanks for the download.

Everything big, bright, clean and fat. Lots of cool arrangement ideas. Very pro-sounding effort. Pleasure to listen to on headphones.

Yes, like magic, your opus now has somewhat of a grand cinematic feel to it. Lots of interesting elements and textures that you've added to this mix. I believe your collection has coalesced quite nicely. Very pro, my friend. Kudos to you! ;)

well I've heard the one with vocals and both that version and this is great. How on earth did you capture that awesome snare!?

I've been called worse...
Sounds really good to me - someone said "Cinematic", that's a proper application for the piece, if you could get a taker it would be cool.

The piano
sounds amazing in this. Very cool indeed. Thanks for the post and download! Cool piece.

My only comment is that the intro doesn't seem to really fit with the funky main section (which I really like). Much of this is taste of course. Overall the tune is really pretty amazing!

I'm curious about the vocals? Did you just not like them? I'd love to hear the vocal version so I'll go check your catalog and see if its there.
