Nice sounds
I picture water dripping into a stream that meanders through a forest on its way to the sea. Very peaceful.

and very beautiful. I love the slow piano motif running through this and the way you build the sounds around it. Very nice instrumentation throughout, lovely music. I too have taken a download, thank you.

Delicate indeed
Very calming listen, beautiful and elegant string sounds, but the relentless piano riff reminds us that time, although infinite, is passing...

The title sums this up very well. You build the piece beautifully from the droplets at the beginning to the lush strings and plaintive violin. A delight!

This is a real Cormac classic! So meditative and beautiful that it almost hurts. Wow, I am speechless. I hope some day I could make something nearly as fine. Alas...

Thank you so much for sharing it.

Take care,

thank you Henke
Henke thank you for kind and encouraging words. You are always honest with me and to get the comment from you that I did means a lot to me.
You already compose fine music that is unique to you and that I enjoy , I have a few of your pieces on my mp3 player and on the sd card in the car stereo along with others from MJs.
I generally don't listen to main stream stuff , I much prefer playing music from people that I actually know and have contact with like your good self .
SO thanks again for stopping by , it's always good to hear from you.
Slan anois. ( goodbye in Irish )

the violin
is so sensitively played in this simple song, a real plaintive tune that just evolves slowly and with deliberate movement. This is just a beautiful, graceful, delicate composition that never tries to be more than its own self. I wonder, though, if a change in tonality or tonal center part of the way through might give this piece every more movement and a lift away from the original mantra of the piano motif...something that you can easily go back to later near the end of the piece. Still, this is just a beautiful and graceful piece and I enjoyed it very very much indeed.

thank you paul
You are right about a change midway through. I suppose when I was composing it I was afraid of straying too far and ruining it , like I have done with so many of my compositions. But thank you for listening and thanks for your kind and encouraging words. I shall take your advice onboard and we shall see where the next composition takes us. I listened to your Perpetual motion ( dwnld straight away btw ) & I am honored that someone of your talent and abilities has taken time out to listen to my work. So thumbs up to you , you are a gentlman and a gifted one at that.

I compose music ( but cant read it ). My stuff is simple and atmospheric. Mostly one takes and one offs. My music is instrumental and I try to compose in different genres. I have learned most of what I know way way back from two people , my friend... [see more]
